From March 1, 2024, we will limit the time it takes to consult a customer's order on your Smood Restaurant app (Smood Tablet) to 9 minutes. Always striving to offer the best possible customer experience, in collaboration with you, our valued partner, this new feature aims to inform the client quicker that their order is being processed.
Also, it will help us avoid customer frustration, should you happen to be closed one day, and the order is canceled after a prolonged delay.
Therefore, we thank you for your ongoing support in always putting the client first, by regularly updating your trading hours on Manager’s platform and secondly, for informing your teams of this new 9min auto-cancel feature.
The 2 main stages of the system :
You receive a customer order. If it has not been consulted within 4 minutes, we alert you via an automatic call. An alert tag displaying the countdown will then be visible on the application.
Then, you have an additional 5 minutes to consult the order.
⚠️ After this time, the order will be automatically canceled and your establishment will be considered closed until the next scheduled opening.
If you just missed one order by mistake, you’ll be able to easily re-open on the app by clicking on the “Resume new orders“ button that will appear on your screen right after being disconnected.
